Snowbee Poly-Coated Leaders for Trout, designed to quickly change leaders when conditions change or fish start feeding at a different depth, negating the need to change fly line.

Snowbee Poly-Coated Leader range represents three years of development by Snowbee ensuring they got it just right. The Snowbee Poly-Coated Leader range are available in lengths of 5ft and 10ft in both trout and salmon ranges. The trout Poly-Coated Leaders are extruded onto 0.40mm (15lb BS) clear monofilament core, while the salmon models use 0.55mm (30lb BS). Both Poly-Coated Leader types have neat welded loops on the butt end to allow simple ‘loop to loop’ connection to your fly line, with an 8” un-coated monofilament tip, with a Perfection Loop tied in the end, which can be cut off if not required. The thermoplastic polymer coating has a precision taper and a silky-smooth finish, to ensure a controlled turnover and presentation. The five different densities available allow accurate presentation of your fly at any chosen depth.

Snowbee Poly-Coated Leaders - Further Information: Made similar to a fly line, with a core and coating, they are attached between the end of the fly line and the leader. Poly-Coated Leaders have an integrated loop which benefits the fly angler to quickly change leaders when conditions change or fish start feeding at a different depth, negating the need to change fly line, floating to a sink for example. Further benefits include low memory and built-in shock absorption.
