• Attach the line winder to a flat surface, use the clamp on the base to form a vacuum. (Tip - damp the part where it attaches to surface)
• Screw in the aluminium stem in to base.
• Place the butterfly clip first, then a spring, then a cone tapered up.
• Slot your backing / fly line / etc.
• Place the second cone tapered down, then the second spring, then the butterfly clip.
• Adjust the spring tension to your desired level.
• Begin winding the line onto your reel, ensuring even tension throughout the process.
