Bootlace Sand Eel Chartreuse from the Chris Ogborne Sand Eel Range of Flies

- Bootlace sand eels appear early season and are the smallest of the UK sand eel at around 3" long. This chartreuse version works particularly well in brackish or cloudy water. The great thing with this smaller pattern is that you can fish 2 of them on a cast - a proven method that seems to trigger a reaction from the fish.

Chirs is an internationally respected angler having represented England on the world stage for over 20 years. He has fished in all fly disciplines but these days his real love is the wild rivers and saltwater of Cornwall. These sand eel patterns have been developed over a number of years and now improved by the addition of Turrall Fly Tying Materials.
