After tying a worm fly finished of with a spot of veniard varnish on the head only to find it dissolved the squirmy worm body where varnish touched it.

Yes we have found this and would not recommend using Varnish on this product - We always recommend when using new items to test before use on any material. But these worms are still an amazing and hugely popular material, possibly the fastest new product over the last 12 months with many repeat purchases and stories of great catches!

Simple to tie and look deadly! Flies don''t get any easier than this. Plenty of YouTube videos to give you ideas. I tied them with just the squirmy wormy material, some with matching colour glass beads and some with tungsten to fish at different depths. Haven''t tried them yet but from reviews I''ve read I doubt they will fail. .

Great service and effective tying material The package arrived from Troutcatchers the morning after the afternoon I ordered it - that''s great service. The product is a little tricky to tie but provides lifelike colour and movement to build a fly pattern that''s attractive to the fish. .
